Review:

Silvia Violet takes us on a lovely sexually charged and romantic ride between a male vampire and, of all things, a male deer shifter. Yes, you read right: a vampire and a deer shifter. Now I have read loads of vampire stories and other type of shifters. But never a deer and never would I have imagined those two supernaturals in a relationship together. But Silvia Violet does not disappoint and the pairing actually works! A story of a lab tech meets bad ass cop. That alone makes it sexy when there is an officer of the law involved.

I loved Jason Fleetfoot and Drew Danvers together and separately. They were hot, exciting and I really cared about where their relationship was going. With this being a short read, the plot was well developed and their relationship did not seemed forced as the author had them having known one another and also very aware of each other. The dialogue was smooth and quirky in parts and I was definitely surprised that it was written in first person. I just have a problem with first person read, but it fit the story line well to have it done that way. The voice of each character done this way seemed to make it more personal to me.

Will I be looking for more of Sylvia Violet's work? You betcha!

Five stars for the sexy vampire and deer shifter, hot sex scenes and great suspense.

A Siren Erotic Romance

Review:

Interracial cowboy ménage at its finest.

Delilah Hunt never ceases to amaze me with her hot sex scenes, feisty heroines and dead sexy heroes. I dub her Queen of Interracial Ménage.

I absolutely loved the Kincaid studs and Alexa Grey. I think that Delilah Hunt's fantasy of three brothers and one woman had a hint of realism in it. Why do I say that, you ask? First of all, the brothers had never thought of sharing a woman before. Had never had to share a woman before. So Alexa coming into their lives and all three brothers wanting her, they were man enough to realize that they had to share her. Doesn't mean that they are used to sharing and that it would always be easy for them. Which to me is a real emotion and really realistic. The brothers had to have some insecurities as did Alexa, or it wouldn't have been realistic. The brothers are bound to need reassurance that she wouldn't pick one over the other and Alexa should also be a little unsure as to whether they would stay with her or leave when and if they tired of her. Realistic.

Logan, Connor and Owen Kincaid are three sexy cowboys who fall for one very lucky female. All three males are Alphas but the way they handle themselves and Alexa is different and refreshing. It's not like they are all the same carbon copy and repeating and doing the same thing the other one would do. You get three totally distinct males who happen to love and want the same woman. So what better way to keep the peace because you love your brothers who happen to love the same woman, than to share her and love her equally? And ooh la la, was she shared equally.

Sexy, sweet and hot sexual escapades kept me wanting more. Smoking sexual talk and acts kept my eyes peeled to the pages. Don't get me wrong. This book, though chocked full with erotic scenes, wasn't all about that alone. It was filled with secondary conflicts and secondary characters that added to the issues the four characters faced. It made me laugh, and it made sit on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. I was so invested in the characters. I wanted them to all be happy together and Delilah Hunt did not disappoint me. Once again she has proven to me that her books are keepers. I didn't want to put it down and believe me, you won't want to either.

Overall impression? Impressed and wanting more!

Five stars for sexy cowboys, hot sex scenes and a great love story.

Vampire Alec McQuarrie's heart was broken long before it stopped beating. Now Alec's after-life is an endless search for pleasure. Young witch Sorcha Ferguson has come to London in search of a man, beast-or even a blood sucker-of her very own...

Review:

This is my first time reading a Lydia Dare book and I have to say it will not be my last. Once again, an author has shown me that you can place witches, vampires and lycans together and have harmony flow from the pages. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning only because it seemed to take forever for the hero to meet up with the heroine.

Alec "Sexy as Sin" McQuarrie. Yep that's what I dubbed him. I loved his character. I loved how he was so full of angst because of what had happened to him. Being changed from human to Vampire. Feeling through him, the deep sense of loss and despair was interesting. Having lost the woman he felt he loved and who belonged to him, Alec was just literally the walking dead. Yet at the same time his soul was crying out, who would step into his line of view but a woman whom he hadn't realized was all grown up.

Sorcha Ferguson. What a wonderfully willful woman. She knew what she wanted and wasn't shy about getting it. And once the little witch makes up her mind, the little witch gets what she wants.

Now, sweet dear Sorcha figured that she wanted a Lycan to love and no one would stand in her way of getting said Lycan. So when she sets it in her mind that she will do just that, the lovely Miss Ferguson pulls out all the stops. Little does she know she has a protector in an old friend in the form of the moody yet delectable Alec. It was quite fun to come across the myriad of characters that Lydia Dare created. From lycan, to witch, human and vampire, I loved all the characters and I do hope to be able to have the privilege of reading more of Lydia Dare's creative works. This is definitely a must read and a keeper. The ending will make you want to cry and cheer all at the same time.

As far as spiciness goes, it is different from what I am used to reading lately. Yes, it is a bit on the tame side. But do not let that dissuade you. This reminds me of the romance books of old that I read when I was a lot younger. But the book does have a spiciness of its own and will keep you moving through the pages and leave you satisfied. I love the old regency feeling from this book and the characters, and I am sure you will too. I love this falling in love type of story. It brought me back to my roots and to the things I first loved about reading romance books. Thank you, Lydia Dare!

Five stars given for wonderful characters and most excellent of plots.
