Review:

A sexy and sultry read. One satisfying erotic tale.

MAKE ME SWEAT was one explosive read, sexually and emotionally charged at a non-stop pace that I loved. I could not put it down, and when I had to, I was drawn back to it. I fell immediately in love with Ever and Simon. There is nothing like reading an erotic romance novel and feeling everything the characters are going through and holding your breath as you read it. I wanted to be Ever and be just as swept away by Simon as she became. Ok I admit it, I pretended I was her and I was definitely swept away. *wink*

The love scenes were hot, fun, exciting and had me panting for more. Explicit language, hot and kinky sex, paired with hot characters kept me drooling and wanting for more. Right from the get go, Avril Ashton shows you that guns, secrets, a sexy hero and an exciting heroine makes for a story that you will not want to put down. There is a lot of suspense in the story which keeps your attention and doesn't waver so that you are left wanting. I found myself wanting to pick this book up even when I needed to be doing something else. Avril Ashton's story not only follows through with body tingling sex, she also packs a wallop with the action and keeps the reader engaged and invested in all that is happening.

Oh, Ever, Ever...you lucky gal you. Simon Dakin is hot, sexy, dark, thrilling, intense and amazing, all the things one wants in a hero and a lover. And I have to mention the secondary characters Jayce and Wes are to die for too. Hint, hint, Ms. Avril Ashton, another book would place this reviewer in heaven. This book is a keeper and one that I will read over and over again! It is a must read.

Five stars for erotic content, sexy alpha men, a heroine who can take care of herself and not wanting to put the book down!

A Siren Erotic Romance

Review:

A Utopian society. One woman. Three brothers. One week.

Opening scene. Abduction has already happened and forced seduction in progress. What a really, really hot first scene. Smoking hot scene where the men coerce the woman to say she wants them and has sex with them. In the instance she agrees to have sex with them, they have her so aroused and on the edge. I was captivated by how the three men kept Chevaunne so aroused that she was willing to do and to say anything to reach her orgasm. It was hot, it definitely had me revved up for more.

The world that Berengaria Brown built was very intricate. I could see this Utopian society and actually liked its premise. I feel she spent a lot of time developing it. So much so that, truly if their world had been real I don't think there would have been much question that any woman or man would want to live there.

Now on to the emotions of this book. I feel that the author missed the opportunity to show the characters falling in love and for the reader to accept such a relationship between all four of them. The men of course all know each other because they are brothers. But there was no history between the female and the males at all. She didn't know them. They had watched her and studied her enough to know everything about her from her not having any family to speak of yet she knew nothing of them until she was abducted.

When all things are said and done, this book didn't move me as much as I would have liked, but it did have some wonderful scenes.

Review:

What a thrilling ride Shyla Colt leads the reader on in DON'T FEAR THE REAPER. I have to say I loved the roller coaster ride and wanted more even after the book ended. Filled with action from beginning to the end and ending with a bang.

I loved this take on Angels and Demons. The world of angels, demons and humans interacting with one another is vivid and very realistic. The conflict between the hero and heroine is well plotted out and I found myself wanting to get to know them. To learn why they were drawn together. This book is dark, fun, witty, sweet and erotic all rolled up into sixty-eight exciting pages. The culmination of the hero and heroine fulfilling their destiny with one another left me pleasantly satisfied and wanting more.

What can I say about Brea, beautiful and feisty Brea. Brea is so very tough but at the same time there is a sweetness about her that as a reader you cannot resist and you want her to be able to get everything that she wants in life. You root for her to be able to gain her second chance and to win Nox. Vulnerability. One thing I noted about this character was even with her tough exterior that she was so very vulnerable and naive in some instances. But it fit with the whole theme. She was dealing with angels and demons. Being human and not knowing what the overall plan (not privy to what 'He' willed) is helped to show her vulnerability.

Oh my and Nox? God. Shyla Colt, I blame you for my lust over an angel. He was my favorite type of hero. Sexy, hot, brooding and dark. But on a serious mission to save the woman he loved. He is the ultimate protector. A guardian who fell in love with his charge.

I loved the back and forth dialogue between all the characters in the book. Most especially the dialogue between Nox and Brea. It was just right and flowed well. Seeing as Nox and Brea's relationship was well established (he had been her guardian since her birth), their romantic involvement was realistic. I could see Nox actually watching her through her life and falling in love with her once she became of age, and then having to temper that need to do his duty of protecting her, even if it is from himself.

My overall impression is if you're looking for dark erotica, this is the place to start.

Five stars for a very interesting plot, sexy characters and one hell of a rocking title.
