A public exhibition of sex in zero gravity leaves her craving more of his exciting lovemaking. Janis’ attempted seduction of Delos during a holiday sexual “fast” makes him promise retribution. Payback comes when Janis awakens tied to the bed, about to be pleasured by Delos’ skillful fingers, tongue and cock.
After a steamy encounter, the couple exchange gifts obtained at personal sacrifice. But their greatest gift for each other is love.
Review:
I was captivated from the very beginning with the love that the two main characters felt for each other as well as the sexual tension. This short little read kept me riveted and wanting to read more. In fact I do plan to get the others in this series. BRIDE'S HOLIDAY GIFT is basically like the sequel to both books in the Star Brides series (One Thousand Brides and Bride Reborn by Solange Ayre). Delos is a Terilian Alien and Janis is his human wife (which are known as Earthians). I wasn't sure if I would like this little short at first because of the whole alien aspect but this author made it work. Delos was a lovable yet strong male with an equally strong and loving female by his side in the form of rubenesque Janis. I really felt that the emotional aspect of this story was done really well. I felt the desire, the love, the heat, the tension and the sexiness that the characters exhibited. I feel the reader can really relate to Janis because she is real. By real, I mean most woman are not comfortable with their bodies in some way. Janis wasn't comfortable with herself before Delos, but his love for her, helped her to be happy with who she was mentally, physically and sexually. The pace of the story is fast, which works in this case because there is nothing worse than a short story that drags. I was immediately immersed and invested in the love story of Delos and Janis and quite willing to go along with them on this journey. The setting takes place on the Terilian space ship after all the Earth woman had been taken (kidnapped) from Earth. Even with this past conflict of the earth women having been kidnapped, the love that the women felt for the alien males was sweet and the sexual need was powerful and descriptive. This is a must read and I think can honestly be read alone. But in reading it, I think you will wish to read the others from the beginning of the series just as I do. I give this book 5 stars. Five stars for the eroticism, smoothness of plot and developed characters and world building. Review also sent to: http://erotic.theromancereviews.com/ and goodreads.com |
